KsE Video From South America!
In late October 2009, Killswitch Engage embarked on their first ever tour of South America. With stops in Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador, Chile and Colombia, The Massachusetts native played in front of hungry crowds who were eager to get a rare glimpse of the band in these countries. The trip was documented and starting today Roadrunner will be releasing a new short behind the scenes clip every Monday over the next six weeks. The clips range from behind the scenes footage on the tour bus and backstage, interacting with fans, exploring new places, experimenting with fine dining and of course some typical Killswitch Engage shenanigans.
Next up for Killswitch will be an 8-week US headline tour, their first in support of their new self-titled album. Joining them for this run will be The Devil Wears Prada and Dark Tranquility. The tour kicks off on February 4th in Boston, MA. Check out the video below:

MIKE D. & “MISERY OBSCURA”
Mike d. has written a foreword for the “Misery Obscura: The Photography of Eerie Von (1981-2009)” book that’s now available through Dark Horse Books. From Eerie’s days shooting The Misfits to the formation of Samhain all the way to playing stadiums with Danzig, the book documents one of the most important and infuential underground music scenes of the modern era. With over 160 pages, 250+ photos, rare memorabilia, killer stories and captions – “Misery Obscura” is the perfect compliment to everything The Misfits, Samhain & Danzig.
Here’s an excerpt from Mike’s foreword: “From graphic design to music, The Misfits, Samhain & Danzig warped me into the person I am today. I am forever addicted to the dark, in love with horror and always ready for a sing-a-long chorus. I can’t imagine a world without these bands and I know for a fact that neither of my bands (Overcast and KsE) would have existed without them.”
