Howard Leaving Tour, Phil from All That Remains to fill in Temporarily
KILLSWITCH ENGAGE vocalist Howard Jones is leaving the band’s current headlining tour with The Devil Wears Prada and Dark Tranquility due to unforeseen circumstances. All That Remains vocalist Phil Labonte will be filling in for Jones for a few shows in the interim, until the KsE guys can determine what the plan will be for the remaining tour dates, which are currently scheduled to run through the end of March.

I hope the dude is OK but this is my typical luck….....they will swing near my neck of the woods (the LA show) and Howard won’t be reppin KE for me. Damnit.

Consider this, current fans:
“unforeseen circumstances” can’t indicate anything understandable…health, family, what have yous are not out of the realm to blame for a canceled tour.
“unforeseen circumstances” is the bullshit excuse you give your professor for not turning in an assignment on time for NO GOOD REASON…that if you were to elaborate on, the professor would give you NO FUCKING sympathy.
WHY, do you think they would call this “unforeseen circumstances”????
Because, if we knew the real truth, we would probably reevaluate how we felt about Killswitch…and possibly no longer be fans. Depending upon the real reason, it could mean that we fans wouldn’t want to see such a fucking drama queen live.
I’m sticking with the CDs…wait, no…I think I’ll quit buying them and just rip them off somewhere, and then not go see them live so I don’t waste anymore money on a band that doesn’t think I deserve, or cannot handle the truth.
Buck the fuck up Howard…so many people would kill to be in your shoes in such a bad ass band…they’d go with one breath left in their lungs on stage and use it to stoke the fans out, and then die happy because they stoked a bunch of motherfuckers out that love you. How so very fucking disappointing this is, that you forgot the passion you sang with.
Give us a real reason and the crucifixon will stop.

I did some research and a few sites indicate he was “injured”. I imagine that the “unforseen circumstances” verbage was used by a lawyer to cover some legal issues. Maybe he was in fight? Car accident? Either way, pretty disappointed as well.

Octane on XM claimed today that he had injured his back…and should recover then come back….Adam D. has done this a lot….so im hopin by March 16 Howard will be back….Phil is an awesome fill in though…Leach would be cool…but NOT gonna happen…so…get better and come back Howard….
Why doesn’t the band come out and say what is wrong with Howard? That would have made the cancelled show on Monday night easier to take.
