Moving Forward…
To our family, friends and fans: We have decided to continue on without Howard Jones as the singer of Killswitch Engage. We love Howard and are thankful for the nine years that we’ve had him in the band. Out of respect for everyone involved we will not be discussing the specific reasons behind this decision. Howard is a part of our family and always will be, and we wish him well. He has left big shoes to fill, so we certainly have our work cut out for us to find the next singer of Killswitch, something we plan on making priority #1 going forward. Most importantly, thanks to all of you for all the support throughout the years and for sticking by us for all this time. We really do appreciate it and we very much look forward to having a new record for all of you in the not too distant future that we can all be proud of. Sincerely, Adam, Joel, Mike & Justin.

That’s such a shame! First Jesse, then Howard! Both did so much for the band and for metal as a whole! That sucks so much! Hope you guys are all doing well, best wishes to Howard too!
Oh yeah.. if you can’t get Jesse back.. well.. I think you guys need to give ol’ Phil Labonte a call.. jus’ sayin’.. =P
Well kudos to you guys for making a tough informed decision in the right way. Howard’s gonna be tough to replace though - he really stood out as a vocalist and frontman. I hope he continues to make music as well as you guys. Still gonna come see you guys when you’re in the UK next
Such a shame Howard left the band :(. Only suitable and logical replacements ready to take on the band is either Phil or Jesse. As they’ve prove before when they filled in for Howard in 2010. Since Phil is busy with ATR it would be pointless for him to join, leaving Jesse as the only suitable option.
Man that sucks, was wondering if jesse was trying to sneak back in after Times of Grace… Hopefully they find someone else, it’ll be hard to find someone with pipes like Howard.
Thank you for all the wonderful music and years of being in Killswitch Engage Howard. I was introduced to Killswitch when you were already a part of the band. I wish you nothing but, the best in all your future projects. As far as a new singer goes guys, I do agree to either see if Jesse will come back or get Phil from All That Remains. Just my opinion. 
Wow, I knew this day was gonna come but not this soon. Jesse had the emotion and then Howard had the power in his voice. Hope u guys find another great singer. Hope your new album comes out with Howard as a farewell edition

Not unexpected since it’s been so quiet for so long though. Howard will be missed a LOT. Anxious to hear what’s next though. Sign me up for an audition!
Its been 30 minutes and someone already beat me to the punch on Wikipedia. At any rate, this sucks, I pretty much loved this band for Howard’s voice :(
Howard, you’ve been epic mate, you’ve sang your heart and soul out for Killswitch and I sincerely wish you well in any future projects you take on.
